"My salary is only ₹12,000 — can I still get a loan?" is a common question, because some loan apps ask for a high minimum salary. Here is how it works on Quick Loan: there is no fixed minimum salary on our form, and the lender decides the amount based on your salary and credit profile.
Is there a minimum salary for a quick loan?
Quick Loan does not set a fixed minimum salary. On the form you can choose any salary band — including "Below ₹15,000". What matters is that you:
- Are a salaried employee, aged 21 to 58, with the salary paid into your bank account
- Have a CIBIL score of 700 or more
- Have no late EMI or card payments in the last 6 months
The lending partner then decides whether to offer a loan and how much, between ₹2,000 and ₹30,000. A lower salary usually means a smaller amount, and in some cases no offer — the lender makes that decision, not Quick Loan.
How much can I get on a low salary?
There is no fixed formula we can promise. Lenders look at your monthly salary, your credit score, your existing EMIs and your repayment history. As a simple rule, the amount should be something you can repay in one go from your next salary and still pay your rent and bills.
Here is what a small loan can cost, using the partner's ranges (interest 34%–54% per year, processing fee 10%–20% + GST):
| Loan | Days | Interest (34% – 54% p.a.) | Processing fee + GST (10% – 20%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₹3,000 | 30 | about ₹84 – ₹133 | about ₹354 – ₹708 |
| ₹5,000 | 30 | about ₹140 – ₹222 | about ₹590 – ₹1,180 |
The Key Fact Statement shows your exact APR and total repayment before you accept. Try your own numbers on the loan calculator.
Tips to improve your chances on a low salary
- Ask for a smaller amount — it is easier to approve and easier to repay.
- Keep your CIBIL score at 700+ — pay EMIs and card bills on time. See how quick loan costs work.
- Apply with your salary bank account — the account where your salary is credited each month.
- Don't apply in many places at once — more than 10 loan enquiries in 30 days can make you ineligible.
- Avoid a new loan to repay an old one — it makes the next month harder.
Do I need a salary slip?
No. You need only your PAN card and Aadhaar card — no salary slip or income documents, and the whole process is 100% paperless. KYC is done online, and the money goes to your salary bank account. Read quick loan without salary slip for details.
The bottom line
You can apply for a quick loan even on a low salary — there is no fixed minimum on the Quick Loan form. You need a regular salary in your bank account, a CIBIL score of 700+ and a clean repayment record; the lender decides the final amount. Check your eligibility or apply now.
